Windsong #44

This is a piece with a history. I was working on it the night of the 2000 Presidential election. I started out with a plan, and as the evening (and the returns) progressed, the plan kept changing and different pieces were used than were originally planned. This was the end result, which I affectionately dubbed "Election Night Confusion." As you can see, it is a mix of differnt colors, with no real "order" to it, yet somehow the chaos has a kind of balance all its own. The two dark pieces of glass are actually a dark blue and a dark green. I really like this spermhead-whale shape to the wood.
